Built properly, cleaned up, and done on the day we said.

We had Handyman for Hire build a chain-link fence in our backyard, and we’re so happy with how it turned out! Rob and Jesse were amazing to work with. They showed up on time, were professional, polite, and really took pride in their work. They got the whole fence done in just three days! They also finished up our wood gates, and everything looks great. We were really impressed with their work and how easy they were to deal with. We’re actually considering having them come back to redo our backyard deck, which says a lot about how happy we were with the job. Thanks again, Rob and Jesse! We would definitely recommend Handyman for Hire to anyone looking for great workmanship and people you can count on.

Rob and his team rebuilt our deck and privacy wall. From beginning to end they worked hard and finished the project in three days. We are very happy with their work - Rob’s a perfectionist and that shows in their work! We were impressed with Rob while we were gathering quotes and are absolutely thrilled with our new deck. He’s personable, professional and finished the job in record time. We 100% recommended Handyman for Hire!

If I were reviewing the pergola itself, this review would look very different. Unfortunately, the product from AOSOM was a challenge from the moment it came out of the box. However, this review isn't about the pergola, it's about Rob and his team. Rob and his crew showed up as complete strangers and left feeling like family. They worked tirelessly, problem-solved every issue that came up, and genuinely did everything possible to make a difficult product work. Their professionalism, patience, and positive attitude never wavered, even when the pergola seemed determined to fight them every step of the way. Sometimes the quality of a product is out of an installer's control, and this was one of those times. What was completely within their control was the incredible service they provided, and they exceeded every expectation. Thank you, Rob and team, for your hard work, honesty, and dedication. We wouldn't hesitate to hire you again for future projects, and next time, hopefully with a product that actually wants to be assembled! Highly recommend.

We’ve been so happy with all of the work Handyman for Hire has done for us. In the autumn we needed our back fence to be redone pretty quickly and Rob and his team did a stellar job. Not only is the fence beautiful, but it is sturdy and well built and we have confidence that it will stand the rest of time! We also had Rob and his team come out to tile our shower ceiling and install a new shower column. Again, the process was smooth and they did such a beautiful job. Rob also put our minds at ease both times and helped us to make decisions about the style and dimensions which we appreciated because it felt overwhelming. We were so grateful for their guidance and expertise. Will have them come out to do many more projects around our home!

Rob and Jim were friendly, down to earth, and got right to the task at hand. Did a great job and with fair pricing.

Our deck was very old and it needed to be redone. Our neighbour recommended Rob and his Crew to come and see what could be done and how to make it look better. Rob met with us several times, introduced us to his Guys and took his time to come up with an overall plan. Rob also communicated with me about the timeline and the actual start day well in advance. The Crew worked very hard and long hours and completed the deck in good span of time. They also listened to our concerns and were willing to come back to make small corrections at our request. Overall, the deck looks very beautiful and we are very happy with the final result!

Rob removed the old pyramid style back steps I had inherited with massive back deck. He replaced them with an upper landing with stairs leading down, with storage access underneath as per my request. He showed up on time every day and completed the work on time. The wood under the deck looked spongy and soft, but he told me it would dry out fine. Which it did within a day! I think another contractor might have expanded the scope to replace those deck boards, and charge more. They’re actually looking great a year in after being exposed to air and elements. I appreciated the honesty and sticking to the scope of the project. I definitely plan to hire Rob again when I am ready for my next project. The last photo show how great it looks after a year (I didn’t have it painted or stained).

I had a somewhat small job to tape/mud the drywall in my basement, and Rob/Eric did an amazing job, very happy w/ the results. They were able to start very quickly, and had everything wrapped up within 4 days. Looks great, Thanks! Some before/after photos below:

Rob and his crew were awesome. They were able to take my rough DIY start and not only clean it up, but really well executed the vision for our Lego room. I contacted multiple handymen/contractors to take over my basement finishing project when I realized that I was in over my head and couldn't handle any more. Rob was the only one who accepted the challenge and I am so glad he did. All 3 guys worked very professionally, and were very respectful of our home. Rob's communication at all stages of the project was top notch. When there were challenges to solve, he was great to discuss options and recommended solutions. The team even went above and beyond, helping us clear out my excess materials from the basement and garage. Just in time for Christmas we have our dream Lego room and our two boys are so happy with what Rob and team did for us. We will definitely be using their services on any future projects

Robert and his crew are professional and trustworthy, and charge reasonable prices compared to others. They came on time, did the job (removing microwave and installing vent hood instead) perfectly and cleaned after themselves. They even hauled the old, big and heavy microwave to the curb without being asked to help with that. They pointed out mistakes done by previous workers but did not “push” to get them fixed, which I appreciated. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone, and will keep them on “speed dial” for any future work around the house

My husband and I recently just moved to Holland Landing (ON) and we urgently needed a handyman to do a small job to install a cat door to our basement for our cat to access her litter box without leaving that door open. Rob reached out when I posted a referral request on FB and was here the next morning! That was 6 months ago and he’s been our go to person for small and big jobs including today he and his crew finished installing the basement ceiling and they did a great Job! I highly recommend Rob for excellent workmanship as well as ethical, respectful and professional service.

Rob and his team is awesome to work with! Firstly, he is brilliant on communication. He replies to all the messages (cell, messenger) almost in real-time. I never had this experience from any contractor before. Secondly, his team works very organized and left the place clean. Finally and most importantly, Rob knows his work and does perfect on whatever he said he can do! He is a one-stop solution for all home maintenance issues specializing in decks and outdoor works. He did all these works in the pictures for me. Amazing work! Hire Rob and his team. Satisfaction guaranteed!

We had Rob and his team work on our back deck, from start to finish everything was smooth and perfect. They dealt with the permit for us. They worked so hard with smiles on their faces, they are a legit company that work their Butts off. Would definitely hire them again!

You will not be disappointed if you hire Rob and his team! Rob and his team finished putting up a back yard fence for us today. We are very happy with the finished fence. Rob and his team were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They showed up as promised and finished the project within the scheduled time. Rob was very responsive and always made sure that he answered all of my questions. Rob went above and beyond and provided exceptional service! I will be in touch in September to schedule some winter projects in the house. I would highly recommend Handyman For Hire! Thank you again to Rob and his Team!

Rob created a beautiful new composite deck for me. He did a meticulous job. The deck looks fantastic. He spent a great deal of time planning it out and discussing each new section with me. Then he did exactly as he said he would. The work was professionally done. No detail was missed. Rob even created walkways for my kitties so they are safe but can watch the birds. It was so nice to have a contractor who listened to a woman’s point of view and I felt treated as an equal. I’m already looking for more renovations Rob can do for me.

Rob has helped us out on many of our Reno’s and always does amazing work Thank you Rob

Robert does excellent work and always gives a fair price. We've hired him to do numerous jobs around our house. Thank you Robert and Jessie!

We had an aging chain-link fence that was way past repairable. Rob was able to work to make our fence design come to reality. We provided the design guidance and then he provided the expertise to make improvements to it that made it even better. Great collaboration. Finished product looks great.

Rob and his team are great! They rebuilt our front steps and they did a great job. The design ideas he came up with to make the stairs wider were fantastic, the quality of the work is incredible, and they worked quickly. I couldn't recommend them highly enough! Our crumbling and old entry way is brand new!

What a great experience! Very easy to communicate with, reasonable pricing and just a pleasure to work with! Thanks again!

Rob and his team did an amazing job on building the fence. Very professional, reasonable cost and on time. I would recommend his team and service

We needed to organize our laundry room with new cabinets and shelving. Rob came highly recommended in the Bradford group, and I really wanted to support someone local. I reached out, and he was ready to go, we scheduled for the very next day. Rob and Jesse arrived right on time. We reviewed the layout together, and Rob suggested a better height for everyday use, which made a lot of sense, so we went with it. The job was done quickly, efficiently, and with great attention to detail. Both Rob and Jesse were professional, friendly, and trustworthy throughout the process. The laundry room looks fantastic, and I couldn't be happier with the result. Highly recommend, and I'll definitely be calling them back for future projects!

Rob and Jessie did an excellent job on our deck repair. The ledger board cracked under this past winter's snow load. I contacted Rob and he said he could for sure fix that. Now we can use our deck again. Will definitely keep him in mind for future projects.

Rob did an excellent job building our large playset in the backyard. Working all day and in the rain, making sure to get the job done for our kids. Would definitely use him and his team again for more work.

My front entrance was an eye sore for quite some time. Rob took time with us to go over the options, plans, and permits to get the job done. Very pleased with the new look of our home and could not recommend him enough. This handyman is one of the greats!
